Notting Hill Carnival 4 DAYS LEFT!!!!!!!!!!

 

4 days left till we on d road with we chosen bands.. I AM EXCITED!!!!!!!!

I have decided to play with the new band Euphoria, so this should be exciting.... I will be sure to give a FULL review of them come Tuesday...its only fair  :)

So I am sure by now, every band has stated their distribution dates....so all we need is to pay we balance, collect we costumes, organise we accessories( if haven't done before) ,organise what make up ideas we working with...make sure we carnival tights have no holes ...lol lol we have a matching pair of trainers....(well not necessarily matching but hey why not...lol)....and we set....now time to go enjoy all the pre carnival parties..

MY CARNIVAL SCHEDULE: (check calender at side for details)

Thursday:  Posion AWL and Abir AWL
Friday :  Buspepper Bacchanal Friday and Poion UK Carnival Friday Concert
Saturday - Shipwrecked and Tears
Sunday : Chocolate mas
Monday : Euphoria !!!!!

phew!!!!! i feeling tired already from listing the fetes i attending this weekend...its only PACE!!!!!!

SO LETS GO!!!!!! BRING ON NHC WEEKEND !!!!!!!

Nottinghill Carnival

Notting Carnival is one of Europe's Biggest Street festival and is always celebrated on the August Bank Holiday where every year the streets of West London come alive, with the sounds and smells of Europe’s biggest street festival. Twenty miles of vibrant colorful costumes surround over 40 static sound systems, hundreds of Caribbean food stalls,over 40,000 volunteers and over 1 million Notting Hill carnival revellers.

The Notting Hill Carnival usually gets under way on the Saturday with the steel band competition. Sunday is Kids’ Day. On the Bank Holiday Monday, the main parade takes place. It generally begins on Great Western Road, then winds its way along Chepstow Road, on to Westbourne Grove, and then Ladbroke Grove. In the evening, the floats leave the streets in procession, and people carry continue partying at the many Notting Hill Carnival after parties.
