Carnival Accessories !!!! UPDATE

I have been doing a bit of shopping yesterday and out of all the High Street Shops I can honestly say that New Look has the best Carnival Accessories on the market. If you are looking for big,bold, bright, feathers,neons,chains,head accessories to name a few, then make a quick stop in your nearest New Look, and it's sale season , so I suggest you all start shopping soon and get some great bargains ... I took some pictures so you all can have a look on some of what's on offer...

Another store that I think has great accessories is Forever21 UK...you can get a few bits and bobs for Carnival. so pop in and take a look

(ha!!!!!! these stores better give me some commission for this lil bit of advertising...lol .lol)

UPDATE: Just visited Primark, Oxford Circus yesterday evening and they have loads of accessories in yellow,pinks,blue and orange...and obviously it ranges from £1 -£6 you cant go wrong

Finally!!!! Euphoria Carnival Costume Launch

Yayyyy!!!!! the secret is finally out .... i can release the pics of the costumes...... jah!!!!!! I was biting meh tongue / or more so....holding meh fingers from blogging more bout them.....lol lol lol lol

So a round up of the night :
The launch was held on the 2nd Floor of  the Picadilly institute in Picadilly Circus . This was an ideal venue,the club atmosphere was on point , great size room to accommodate everyone. It was also a bounus to have happy hour on both food and drinks, so no one complained about extortion drink prices...4* for me.
The costumes I believe was due to showcase at 8pm and they were on around 8.20 (yep I did check the time :p) so that 20min late start was not bad at all , I would say they did way better on the start time than other bands.
This venue had  no stage so the models whipped and wined through the crowds, a little too fast at first , but their second run through was slower and much better for everyone to fully see the beauty ....

All in all,  this secrecy, the hype and the limited tickets was worth it . Nice lime and nice vibes from the usual busspepper party goers, and i guess a few other bands that come to maccoo ....lol lol lol lol and most of all really nice costumes....

The costumes : Designed By Tribe from Trinidad , the theme colours ,teal,purple and gold, which is the theme colours for Euphoria Brand..
Costume Options: Ladies Front-line , Ladies Back line , Party-man , Party-woman (the fun mas sections)

So Euphoria had their photo shoot weekend gone and from the photos i saw they looking real good their headpieces are hotttttt, and their Colours as well make it look even better.

But i was begged not to release any photos until their launch......arghhhhhhh!!!!!! i am itching bad to show yall a pic ehhhhh , but then my source will get vex and i mightn't get anymore gossip.....hmmmmm decisions, decisions...... screw dat i go show allyuh a lil piece just a little....lol lol lol  (see below)

But i can safely say they have a front line section, back-line and their fun mas (not called fun mass but the same idea)

Also i was sent some info about there launch on Thursday.... (see below) I must admit, i probably have 3 post about this Euphoria band, and no costume photos jeeezz!!!!!!! i never met a more sceretive band so yet. But all this secrecy and little hints they dropping is working well for them cause they have people talking about them, wondering what these costumes looking like, who attending this launch.....lawdddd

I swear come Thursday i better not be disappointed.

Poison UK Band Launch - updated with costumes

Poison UK finally launched their 2012 Presentation : Carnevale De Venezia @ the Camden Centre in North London.

A little Round up of the night : The party actually started on time, and had a massive turn out with performances from UK's own Nekeisha, Triniboi Jooci, Konata, Ms Desire and the man himself Swappi. The atmosphere was slightly less energetic as i would have expected , until Swappi hit the stage. I blame the venue, which is a massive open space with a stage that does nothing for the vibe. It would have been better in a club type setting with different rooms that gave the feel of a party venue rather than a centre. But hey, Swappi and the costume presentation made up a bit for it.

The costume show which was due to start at 10 pm (which i suspect was a tactic to get patrons in early) didn't start until about 12pm and regardless of the time it started it was well worth it to see the 8 Sections and the cinematic clip for each . 

All in All it was a good night with some great performances but Tip for POISONUK get another venue
