Euphoria Carnival unveils 2013 Costumes

Euphoria Finally Launched !!! Another Band that had to rescheduled their original Launch Date from 16th May to the 20th June. And the crowds came out in their numbers to see what Euphoria had to offer NHC 2013.... and from the census last night, no one was disappointed.

Their 2013 theme Dreamcatcher which was designed and produced by Tribe ( anyone remembers their 1st Launch Flyer said costumes designed by Anya? now it says designed by Tribe hmmmmm is that the reason for postponing the Launch, someone couldn't provide????? hmmmm questions questions)

My Favourites : I am Definitely Liking 'Aiyta' (The red Costume) but i prefer the headpiece for 'Aiyana' (The orange costume)

Overall Thoughts: Unlike most bands that take costumes from Trinidad Mas Bands and pass off as their own Euphoria and Funatick were the few that Advertised the costumes as being designed and produce by their Trini collaborators....so kudos.

Now lets see ,Overall thoughts, these costumes are so Tribe(esque) and they look great, as i mention b4 i love the Red costume, although i am not a fan of the headpiece, i am not a huge fan of the small headpieces either, but that's just my opinion...i guess one can wear the red costume without headpiece no? lol lol lol . 

I would however have liked to see a full male pretty costume as well as their party man section ....Maybe for next year they can think of doing that for the guys.

Euphoria it was well worth the wait.

So its Safe to say all launches are over now, so its time for all the fetes, AWL and preparations leading up to Notting Hill Carnival 2013 ...see you on d road :D

EUPHORIA Costume Launch Postponed

Euphoria has sent all Masqueraders and posted to their Facebook event page of  Launch Postponement (see their Notice below)..... I wonder what is the reason..hmmmmmm , while almost all bands have launched and some even sold out, Euphoria is taking a very bold move to postpone for almost a month, lets hope they still have a share of the NHC market to scoop up masqueraders.  These Anya designs better be good , and worth this wait... Stay tuned!!!!

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we regret to inform you that our Band Launch scheduled for Thursday 16th May 2013 is being postponed until 20th June 2013. The event will be held at Piccadilly Institute from 18:30 on this date.

As an organization that strives to provide its’ customers a valuable service, be assured that this decision was by no means rushed, and after much consideration decided to position ourselves to deliver as such.

This year for Sunday mas I have decided to play Chocolate Mas with Pure Lime....I played with Abir last year.

Monday Mas I am trying the new band Euphoria....as I have played with almost all UK Mas bands so it is only fair I play with the new band and give a post carni review

Finally!!!! Euphoria Carnival Costume Launch

Yayyyy!!!!! the secret is finally out .... i can release the pics of the costumes...... jah!!!!!! I was biting meh tongue / or more so....holding meh fingers from blogging more bout them.....lol lol lol lol

So a round up of the night :
The launch was held on the 2nd Floor of  the Picadilly institute in Picadilly Circus . This was an ideal venue,the club atmosphere was on point , great size room to accommodate everyone. It was also a bounus to have happy hour on both food and drinks, so no one complained about extortion drink prices...4* for me.
The costumes I believe was due to showcase at 8pm and they were on around 8.20 (yep I did check the time :p) so that 20min late start was not bad at all , I would say they did way better on the start time than other bands.
This venue had  no stage so the models whipped and wined through the crowds, a little too fast at first , but their second run through was slower and much better for everyone to fully see the beauty ....

All in all,  this secrecy, the hype and the limited tickets was worth it . Nice lime and nice vibes from the usual busspepper party goers, and i guess a few other bands that come to maccoo ....lol lol lol lol and most of all really nice costumes....

The costumes : Designed By Tribe from Trinidad , the theme colours ,teal,purple and gold, which is the theme colours for Euphoria Brand..
Costume Options: Ladies Front-line , Ladies Back line , Party-man , Party-woman (the fun mas sections)

So Euphoria had their photo shoot weekend gone and from the photos i saw they looking real good their headpieces are hotttttt, and their Colours as well make it look even better.

But i was begged not to release any photos until their launch......arghhhhhhh!!!!!! i am itching bad to show yall a pic ehhhhh , but then my source will get vex and i mightn't get anymore gossip.....hmmmmm decisions, decisions...... screw dat i go show allyuh a lil piece just a little....lol lol lol  (see below)

But i can safely say they have a front line section, back-line and their fun mas (not called fun mass but the same idea)

Also i was sent some info about there launch on Thursday.... (see below) I must admit, i probably have 3 post about this Euphoria band, and no costume photos jeeezz!!!!!!! i never met a more sceretive band so yet. But all this secrecy and little hints they dropping is working well for them cause they have people talking about them, wondering what these costumes looking like, who attending this launch.....lawdddd

I swear come Thursday i better not be disappointed.

Euphoria Carnival Band Launch date

So  Euphoria has finally announced its Band Launch date , and we can confirm its on the 14th June 2012 @ the Piccadilly Institute.  It is apparently invite only to a select few .... hmmm Tribe All the way yes!!!!!.....But doh worry i get my invite so i dey with meh camera and note pad to come back and report to you all :) lol lol

So a piece of gossip on the Costume; apparently their costume supposed to based on a mix of styles of 2011 Tribe costumes. So you know i had to review meh 2011 costume pic files, and if they really did take any ideas from that year......boy oh boy...the rest of the UK bands better watch out...cause Euphoria will be hottttt.

Another piece of torii!!! (gossip ..lol..lol) , their costumes Colours : is Teal and Purple. I am loving the colour theme already, i already picturing my version of the costume in my head. So Euphoria better come good..

Off to Berlin !!!

Hey everyone, i will be off to Berlin Carnival from Tomorrow so don't expect any posts till next Tuesday when i am back.

I will be sure to have loads of pics and a full report on some events and on the road....its sure to be a good weekend.

Euphoria Carnival Update!!!!!!

So, i know you all want more information on Euphoria, as i have had few emails asking questions.

I can only say i was able to see an unfinished copy of their costume and even in the unfinished stages it looks good.

And sources say that the band launch will probably be the end of May, so soon!!!!!!! and somewhere in Central London, easy access......

I cant wait!!!!!!!
